Discovered I'm an artist...
Several years ago, I was walking down the street with my aunt. I was extremely depressed as I was going through chemo at the time and was very self-conscious. My aunt saw a little art bar, where artists could drink and learn to paint, and she suggested that I take a class to take my mind off things. So I signed up and I did okay. I wasn't great, but after about 35 classes, I started to show some promise. Eventually, I became good enough where people started buying the paintings I did in class, so I've decided to take it to the next level.Here are some articles that were written about me and my work in the Eugene Review and The Register-Guard:
